 1. Write an essay about some of the noteworthy or interesting sights in your country or hometown.

           I live in Puerto Rico, an island were you can find very beautiful sights. My island can be small but she is the most beautiful to me. For example there is "El Yunque". The peak itself is one of the highest in Puerto Rico. It has breath-taking views of all the forest. You can find various cascades with really clear and cold water wich makes it an unforgettable experience. Another beatiful sight here in Puerto Rico is the biobays in Vieques. When you swim there at night it's like light show. You literally glow in the dark. it's because of the organism in the water that react to you. A more historical sight can be found at Old San Juan, were our soldiers fought for our land. It is the oldest city on US territorry.They call it "La Ciudad Amurallada" (the walled city) because of the high walls sorrounding the city used to protect it from the enemies in that time. The streets of Old San Juan are known for the brickwork and colorful buildings. The best thing about those buildings is that they keep this old look, that feeling from the time they were built. a sight were you can find an amazing view to is in "Las Cuevas de Camuy". This place has the largest cave systemsin the world. They have discover eighteen entrances to the caves. You will see the sump three villages, were you can see an impressive depression, and the caves are homes to millions of bats. A really small island that's part of Puerto Rico, called Culebras, it's a very relaxing sight. A beach there called Flamenco Beach, is considered the second most beautiful beach in the world. It has really white sand and the water is really clear with foamy waves. Scuba diving can make an even more beautiful sight to visit because of the beautiful and colorful fishes and different water creatures. In the end my Puerto rico has lots of beautiful sights and places, these are just only a few.
